Do you cut down or trim trees or bushes?

No, we do not. We specialize in stump removal only. This way we can get to your job more quickly than other tree service companies.

How do we measure a stump?

For stump removal purposes, we measure the stump where it meets the ground, not where the stump is cut off. We would measure it at the widest point where the stump affects the ground. The height of the stump, any mounding around it, or surface roots could affect the overall measurement.

Why can’t you give me a price or price range over the phone?

There are many variables that go into pricing stump removal; including, but not limited to, size of stump, ease of access, ground conditions, obstacles, and future plans for the space, etc. We will give an upfront, guaranteed price to complete the job. To give you that guaranteed price, we need to see the overall situation.

Why do I need to be home just to get an estimate?

We have found that the ability to meet with the homeowner and ask questions on site ensures that we are able to do the job correctly every time. Questions could include utilities, irrigation, landscaping, future plans, and any other obstacles or special situations.

Is your machine going to damage my yard?

We have specialized equipment with rubber tracks that distribute the weight out to about 4.5 pounds per square inch. In most cases you cannot tell that we have been on your yard. If the ground is too saturated, we will schedule your job when ground conditions are better.

Will your machine fit through my fence gate?

Our machine will fit through a standard 36” gate.

Do I need to be home while you are doing the work?

After you have given us approval to complete the job, you may leave while we are working. Payment will need to be made to the service technician prior to your leaving or you will need to be back by the time the job is complete.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. There is a 4% processing fee for credit card transactions.
